last saturday in our gathering we studied about the grace of God and what is the real meaning of it. I want to shared this topic and I hope that by this topic you will see light.
Bakit tinatawag na biyaya?
Efe 2:8 Sapagka't sa biyaya kayo'y nangaligtas sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya; at ito'y hindi sa inyong sarili, ito'y kaloob ng Dios;

Ang biyaya ay kaloob ng Dios o sa ibang salita regalo. ito ay isang bagay na hindi mo pinagtrabahuhan gaya ng nasusulat sa aklat ng Roma

Rom 6:23 Sapagka't ang kabayaran ng kasalanan ay kamatayan; datapuwa't ang kaloob na walang bayad ng Dios ay buhay na walang hanggan kay Cristo Jesus na Panginoon natin.

Ngunit pinagkamalian ito ng mga ibang born again movement at mga baptist na 'maliligtas lang daw tayo sa pamamagitang ng pananampalataya at hindi ng mga gawa, kaya hindi na kailangan gumawa ng mabuti kung hindi sumampalataya ka lamang at maliligtas kana'
ito'y kabalintunaan at tahasang pagmamali sa bibliya.

Magbasa tayo katunayan na kasinungalingan ang paniniwalang ito sa Tito 2:11 ay mababasa natin ang ganito.

Tit 2:11 Sapagka't napakita ang biyaya ng Dios, na may dalang kaligtasan sa lahat ng mga tao,
Tit 2:12 Na nagtuturo sa atin, upang, pagtanggi natin sa kalikuan at sa mga kahalayan ng sanglibutan, ay marapat mabuhay tayong may pagpipigil at matuwid at banal sa panahong kasalukuyan ng sanglibutan ito;

makikita natin sa talata na ang biyaya naibinigay ng Dios ay magtuturo sa atin ng pagpipigil sa paggawa ng masama at tayong tuturuan maging matuwid at banal.


ngunit bakit nga ba sinabi ito sa Efeso.

Atin suriing mabuti at pag-aralan, bilang panimula magbasa tayo ng isang talata mula sa kasulatan, sa Roma mababasa natin ang ganito.

Rom 5:6 Sapagka't nang tayo ay mahihina pa ay namatay si Cristo sa kapanahunan dahil sa mga masama.
Rom 5:7 Sapagka't ang isang tao'y bahagya nang mamatay dahil sa isang taong matuwid: bagama't dahil sa isang taong mabuti marahil ay may mangangahas mamatay.

Maliwanag! kaya biyaya ito, para sa atin dahil hindi tayo karapatdapat na pagkamatayan ni Kristo sapagkat tayo'y makasalanan, lahat tayo ay nagkakasala.

sinabi ito sa talata sapagkat wala naman tayong ginawa na matuwid na bagay kay Kristo hindi naman natin siya pinagsilbihan ng ating mga kamay upang tanawin Niyang utang na loob sa atin. Ito'y kaloob na mula sa Ama dahil sa pag mamahal Niya sa atin ng padala Siya ng ating taga-pagligtas (Joh 3:16 Sapagka't gayon na lamang ang pagsinta ng Dios sa sanglibutan, na ibinigay niya ang kaniyang bugtong na Anak, upang ang sinoman sa kaniya'y sumampalataya ay huwag mapahamak, kundi magkaroon ng buhay na walang hanggan)

The holy book is said to be the most popular book and remains to be undisputed in terms of figures sold each year No book has been more widely disseminated and has more broadly influenced the course of global event than has the bible. These books have influenced more thought, inspired more art, and motivated more discoveries than any other book.

Archaeology is an important science that confirms the historical accuracy of the bible. Since the bible makes reference to hundreds of cities, king, and places, we would expect to find evidence from on-site excavations. If we did not find any such evidence, we would highly question the bible’s claim of inspiration and tend to view it as myth and folklore. Skeptics would regard the bible as the product of human imagination rather than a divinely inspired record about real historical events, about real people living in real cities.

At the turn of the centuries, detractors of the Holy books viewed the bible as myth rather than real world history. They see the bible as archaic and replete with contradictions and distortions. They regard bible events as old wives’ tales which are useful for instructing children in moral and ethical values, but not much else. A popular belief is that the bible will not stand up to the scrutiny of modern science. Others say that biblical facts contradict that fact being laid down by scientific studies. Yet, when the bible skeptics’ evidence is examined in the light of recent discoveries data or even in medical arena, the opposite is true.

Today, so many bible cities, name and events have been unearthed through archaeology that makes the bible considered as the single most important histological document in existence. There are two main lines of support for biblical history: archeological artifacts and specifically written documents. With respect to the science of past human cultures through the recovery and analysis of their materials relics there is no archeological finding that has ever invalidated a biblical teaching. In fact, much of the earlier criticisms of the bible have been decisively overturned by archeological discoveries which have demonstrated the existence of writings in Moses’ day, or the history of chronology of kings of Israel. Many lost cities have been located using the bible as a road map.

The more widely publicized of the Dead Sea scrolls illustrates a point that there are thousands of manuscripts for both Old and new testaments. Compared with a handful of many great secular classics. The discovery of ancient coins from the time of Jesus Christ during the reign of Tiberius Caesar and the pieces of artifacts which lead us back to the time of Moses, Abraham, Jacob lot and even Noah. These discoveries do not only authenticate scripture, but also illuminate many aspects of biblical culture and made the bible the best documented book from the ancient world. Let us read “Genesis 11:31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. “ Abraham (Abram) is said to have lived in the city of Ur. The existence of this great city was often scorned until; recent archeological diggings uncovered its ancient’s ruins. Temples, houses, and even the king’s and queen’s tomb have been discovered. Confirmation of the bible’s accuracy in factual matters lends credibility to its claims when speaking of other subjects especially of the extra-ordinary subjects. Just like what is written in “John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? “

What happens to these people after they die?

What happens when these people die:

1) infant child who was never exposed to Christianity

2) Person who grew up in another culture and never had a chance to hear about Jesus - perhaps a tribe member in a jungle of south America or on a remote uncharted island.

3) A Christian, who, at the time of their death, is going through a crisis of faith and is uncertain, despite a lifetime of faithfulness.

Any thoughts on these questions? What would be the fate of their souls? Heaven? Hell? Purgatory? Some other fate?

1.When young Children die they are automatically go to the bosoms of the Father because they are of God like what happened to Lazarus (Luk 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luk 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.)

The young children are of God because they are innocence. In the time of Christ there was written discussion between Christ and His disciples and it was about young children. Let us read it, in the book of Mark we can read this

Mat 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

Mat 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

As we see Christ wants us to be like a child who is innocence, innocence in what?

the answer is, innocence in sin.

2. many people wonder, What will happen to these people who do not even know the existences of bible, and because they don't knew it, how can it be transgressed?

In the book of Romans 2:11... we can read this.” For there is no respect of persons with God.

Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

.In this verse it is clear that although the person do not know the law of God, but God put the law in their hearts. example In Deut 5:17 it says.” Thou shalt not kill.” Even you don't know this verse; you will come to know that killing someone is wrong. Remember the one who will be save is the 'doers the law’.

The fate of these people who you said that never expose to Christianity is in the hands of God, He is the savior of all men “1Ti 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. “

3. If this is the scenario I think God will not allow somebody will die with uncertainty in his salvation, because God is justices He will give enough time to everyone to be just or righteous or to be filthy “Rev 22:11 He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still” So that, in the judgment time it will give justices to the verdict of God if someone is going to hell or to heaven.

Drink or not to drink?


A friend in the internet wrote a comment in my answered in one of the question in YA. This is what he sends me. Drinking wine and liquor is not a sin; the bible only prohibited you to become a drunkard, so your claimed has no basis. And also why Jesus turns the water into wine if it is prohibited (1 Corinthians 6:10-11)

And this is my responds to his comment.

1Corinthians 6:9-11Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God”

In 1Corinthians 6:10-11 Saint Paul was talking to the early Christian, we will see on that verses that he only mention “ some wrong doing” and telling them (early Christian) that some of them are like that before, right! As a Christian we must be clean in the eyes of the Lord, so to avoid committing sin we must avoid where a sin starts. like what Paul wrote in Thessalonians;

1Thesalonians 5:22 abstain from every form of evil.

When we drink liquor there is a possibility that we will get drunk and become drunkards, so to avoid being drunkards we should get away from drinking liquor, right!

another verse;

Eph 5:18 And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;

So there is already appearance of evils in drinking liquor, you might be get drunk and involve in a riot, so avoid it, as it was written in 1Thesalonians 5:22.

“also why Jesus turns the water into wine if it is prohibited” This is what you had said, you had a point here but you are using a wrong argument. First of all, we must know how many kinds of wine there was, I would like to quote this verse

Luke 5:37-39 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

In this verses it is said WINE, but if we look closely we will see that there are two kinds of wine that being mentioned in the verses, new and an old wine. So the next question is which kinds of wine that can be drink by His people?

Obviously! It is the new one, which you will not be intoxicated or get drunk, unlike the alcohol you are talking about and I would like to cite this verse

Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

See that in Luke 1:15, WINE or STRONG DRINK.

In the bible it is not specific whether it is a new wine or old wine, however you yourself know what kind of wine was used in the verses.

“And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; And with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:"

Therefore, the law of Karma teaches that responsibility for unskillful actions is born by the person who commits them.

I do not believe in karma because its principle is not written in the bible or has no basis in the bible. if karma is true, God don’t need to pursue “the judgments day”, because if karma is real and yet God execute the sinner its already consider a double jeopardy.

the word trinity is not written in the bible, this is a one of the major doctrine of the catholic so let us look in their book . In the book of “ the faith of our fathers written by James cardinal gibbons chapter 1 pg 1

“But one god who is infinite in knowledge, in power, in goodness and in every other perfection, who created all things by His …. In this one God there are three distinct person: The father, The Son and The Holy Ghost, who are perfectly equal to each other.” this is the mysteries of the holy trinity.

Let see also other information about the teaching of the catholic about the trinity in “the dogma of the trinity” stated this “The trinity is term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion—the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are three Persons, the father, the son and the holy spirit, these Three Persons being truly distinct one from another. Thus, in the words of the Athanasian Creed; “the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God.” In this Trinity of Persons the Son is begotten of the Father by an eternal generation, and the Holy Spirit proceeds by an eternal procession from the Father and the Son. Yet, notwithstanding this difference as to origin, the Persons are co-eternal and co-equal: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent. This, the church teaches, is the revelation regarding God’s nature which Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came upon earth to deliver to the world: which she proposes to man as the foundation of her whole dogmatic system.” The Catholic claim that this is a revelation from Christ when he came down upon the earth, that these three distinct persons in the trinity are co-equal, co-eternal and all alike. Now considering these evidence that we read from there book and doctrines with these information let as now study this unto the light of the holy scripture; is there such a thing in the bible as “the Father is equal with the Son or the Son is equal with the Father and the Holy spirit is equal with the Son And The Father vice versa?” let us look in the scripture Christ said in the book of John 10:29 “ My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Question about God.


THERE IS BUT ONE GOD?

Definitely Christian is not a pagan worshiper.

There is only one God almighty; the one that created heavens and earth.

Jesus is also a God He is the Son of the Living God. “John 6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

But there are many gods?

These are some of the verse that stated about gods: Psalms 82:1 God standeth in the congregation of God; He judgeth among the gods.”

As we see in the verse God standeth in the congregation of God it means that there are many God besides the God almighty.

Even Satan is god, he is the god of this world. “2Corinthians 4:4 in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. “

There is only one God this is one of many erroneous doctrine that teaches by many false teachers of religion today, that’ s why there are many misconception about the bible.
